This delicious salad is anything but boring. Many varied ingredients, unusually combined, make a fresh summer salad!
Preparation time
approx. 25 minutes
Ingredients (for approx. 4 persons)
- Leaf salad of your choice (e.g. romaine lettuce or iceberg lettuce)
- 3 - 4 tomatoes
- 1/4 watermelon
- 1 carrot
- 1 handful of sliced nuts
- 50 g feta
- 5 - 6 mushrooms
- 15 g Rapeseed and grape seed oil Basil
- 20 g Aceto Balsamico Vinegar
- 1 tsp medium hot mustard, e.g. Vitis man mustard
- 15 g agave syrup
- some chives
- some cress
- salt, pepper
Preparation
1) First the lettuce is plucked or cut, then washed under cold running water and shaken dry.
2) Now chop diligently: the tomatoes into cubes, the carrot and the mushrooms into slices and the watermelon into bite-sized pieces. Who likes, can the mushrooms still in something Rapeseed oil and season with salt and pepper. They can also be used raw in the salad.
3) Mix the salad with all the vegetables and the melon in a large bowl. Add the chopped nuts and some plucked cress and crumble the feta on top.
4) For the dressing, first mix the rapeseed and grape seed oil basil with the aceto balsamic. Now whisk in the mustard and agave syrup. Finally, season the dressing to taste with salt, pepper and chive rolls.
5) Serve the dressing with the salad.
